JOB DESCRIPTIONAssist Principals in client relationship development and ensure service standards are being met by the entire staff. Advise on assigned clients and provide support to principals on all wealth management clients Develop and analyze periodic financial plan recommendations including Monte Carlo analysis, insurance, estate planning Provide tax planning recommendations and support Proactively communicate with clients and ensure implementation of approved recommendations Ensure client data and reports are accurate Prepare accurate and timely financial and investment reports for client meetings Cash flow management - work closely with team in monitoring accounts for sufficient cash for fees and withdrawals, movement of funds and re-allocation of investments and account rebalances Provide leadership to wealth advisory staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of reporting and meeting prep Review private deal flow (e.g. real estate, private equity, and specific client requests) as needed Assist with rebalancing plans and coordinating execution of changes to client portfolios Assist with quarterly performance review as needed Assist Principals with business development including development of proposals; preparation of presentations; making pitches to select clients Identify opportunities to evolve wealth advisory service levels into the future Participate on firm Investment Committee Responsible for completion of ad-hoc assignments and contributing to team projects
Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance or Business degree preferred) CFP required. CPA and or Series 65 preferred 5-7 years financial and accounting experience Financial planning experience a must including use of financial planning software and Monte Carlo analysis Demonstrated experience in advising clients Great attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are required Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of finance, economics and markets Solid analytical and problem solving skills Proficient knowledge in working with computers including solid working knowledge of Excel and financial planning software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents Ability to effectively work in a team environment, building a spirit of cooperation, and sharing knowledge and skills with others in the group Resourcefulness, energetic, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
