| Leading global investment bank seeks accomplished accounting policy professional with strong IFRS and GAAP knowledge to join their NY City offices. The hired candidate will perform critical technical accounting analyses for trade/transaction reviews as well as new product development. |

| Responsibilties: Provide accounting policy advisory for transactions, new product and trade reviews, ensuring all meet GAAP and IFRS pronouncement requirements. Coordinate with Global Accounting Policy teams in London and Aisa to reach consensus on Accounting Policy matters. Oversee and complete required changes to US GAAP financial statements and filings. Devise dynamic accounting policy solutions to address new or developing business issues. Provide accounting policy support to firm-wide projects. Provide Accounting Policy support for newly presented product offerings. Draft or Revise accounting policies inclusive of US GAAP and IFRS pronouncements Conduct technical accounting training when necessary. Track and analyze the importance and effect of emerging accounting changes on the company. |

| Basic Qualifications: 5-8 years Accounting Policy experience, CPA required. Big 4 experience highly sought. Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP pronouncements and conversion concepts. Investment banking product expertise. |
