This is a great position with a financially sound regional bank int he southeastern USA. The Audit department manager will assume a leadership position to direct the internal audit operation as well as direct a 12 member team that is in place.
JOB DESCRIPTIONThe internal audit department manager will be responsible for auditing the banking, investment and insurance operations of a $10+ billion multi-state bank.
A minimum of 10 years of internal bank audit experience, to include mortgage (FNMA & GNMA), investment and insurance Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance audit experience Team management and leadership experience Project management experience Continuous process improvement experience Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to achieve meeting deadlines Audit committee reporting experience Audit plan creation and implementation experience Regulatory agency liaison and communication experience Excellent oral and written communications skills
Masters degree in finance or accounting CPA- Certified Public Accountant CIA- Certified Internal Audit
Certified Bank Auditor; Certified Internal Auditor; Certified Public Accountant
