Currently seeking a Loan Processor for a temporary consulting project at a bank located in Maryland. Seeking someone with past experience in mortgage loan processing or loan closing.
In this role, you will be processing mortgage loans and home equity loans by gathering and analyzing documentation required to facilitate the movement of those loans through to Underwriting and Closing as efficiently and timely as possible. In addition to processing loans you will help management achieve department goals and objectives. |

Must have the following:
- 3 to 5 years of processing 1st mortgage loans.
- A demonstrated knowledge of lending regulations, policies and procedures.
- An analytical ability to review all documentation needed for the loan files.
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and FHA loan guidelines.
- Strong Excel knowledge.
- Knowledge of mortgage loan origination and processing software.
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
