| The Letter of Credit Supervisor is responsible for the leading, motivating, training and coordination of work performed by 5 full time employees in the Letter of Credit Department. The position is responsible for providing technical, functional and operational expertise to the staff, as well as internal and external customers. This person is responsible for the staffing, performance appraisals and promotions and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Letter of Credit staff. Position Responsibilities: • Focus on managing risk for the bank while structuring Letters of Credit. • Performance Reviews for staff • Manage organizational performance and drive process Improvements. • Pre-screen standby letters of credit structures and refer complex issues to management. • Communicate with internal and external customers on standby related inquiries, perform research and provide solutions. • Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures in order to achieve the highest degree of departmental efficiency. • Ensures appropriate training for the Letter of Credit staff, especially in conjunction with the OTL System. • Communicates any shortcomings and improvement recommendations to the Letter of Credit Operations Manager. • Provides technical assistance to staff in relation to ISP and UCP compliance. • Ensures completion of scheduled tasks, such as reconcilement, renewals, document turn-around time, revaluation, billing, etc. • Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines for OFAC, Boycott, Money Laundering, etc. |

| • Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 2 years relevant banking experience • Three years of supervisory experience • Three or more years of Letter of Credit experience • Excellent PC skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work under critical time constraints |
