| Hands-on Controller opportunity in the services sector of the oil & gas industry. The ideal individual will possess strong financial skills and solid operations and business acumen. Responsible for financial activity for the organization. They will: •Responsible on a monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting including but not limited to financial P&L’s, KPI’s, Cash Flow Statements, Inventory fluctuations and additional information required by management. •Responsible for treasury function, including debt financing and debt service payments, and bank reconciliations. •Manage the accounting and finance department. Establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures. •Prepare and update budgets and forecasts. •Review contracts and agreements. •Review, implement and maintain comprehensive accounting policy and procedures, maintain internal controls. •Liaison and manage external business relations to include banking relationships, investor groups, auditors, insurance and additional external service providers as deemed necessary •Recruit, hire, train, mentor and develop internal staff and evaluate employee performance Requirements include but not limited to: •10 + years accounting and finance background, experience in the oil and gas industry (oilfield service) preferred •Must be hands-on •Accounting degree and CPA designation or MBA a plus •Knowledge of US GAAP. Prior IPO and understanding of SEC rules and regulations is preferred. •Ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues. •Excellent communication skills needed and the ability to present financial information in a clear concise manner •Strong analytical skills •Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial procedures •Computer literate in spreadsheets, word processing and presentation programs •Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents and spreadsheets |
