| UNIQUE PLANT CONTROLLER Provide financial control and support for a manufacturing plant including monthly accounting, budgeting and inventory control processes. This position provides timely and specific financial information to assist the Operations Management Team in making informed decisions. Responsibilities Manage plant accounting staff and support local management team in financial matters. Responsible for efficient daily management of accounting department, insuring maximum utilization of personnel and equipment Perform plant cost accounting responsibilities including month end close, variance analysis, and report preparation for use by Corporate HQ and local plant management Assists plant management and HQ in the preparation, review and analysis of plant level budgets and forecasts. Responsible for generation of plant level standard cost data. Responsible for the liaison and administration of plant internal controls in conjunction with plant management including cycle and physical counts of raw material, fixed asset accuracy, spare parts, etc.Lead external auditors regarding matters of plant operations and support local tax audits Review and approve monthly reconciliations for submission to corporate consolidation Working with the engineering team, provide control and support of capital expenditure projects Desire 5+ years experience in manufacturing accounting. Must have cost background. CPA/MBA is preferred |
