JOB DESCRIPTION

The Card Services Business Analyst will be responsible to partner with business unit stakeholders and technical staff to identify business systems and new product solutions, as well as changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. Considered the top business analyst expert within a major application supporting multiple business units, performing tasks of the most complex nature required to: • Gather and document business requirements including: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, functionality and forms • Act as a project manager for initiatives, identifying tasks, preparation of estimates, and development of work plans • Act as a mentor for less experienced team members and train fellow business systems analysts • Lead and validate system configuration and administration changes (i.e., system definition tables) • Lead implementation, testing and training of system changes, enhancements and product releases(including associations such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express) • Provide lead expertise on conversion analysis and testing for mergers and acquisitions • Organize and oversee team testing methodology for test scripts and appropriate full-cycle testing (unit, integration, system, and QA) • Validate production implementation and provide change control approvals • Organize, lead, develop, and deliver end-user training • Organize and ensure accurate updating of team system and process documentation • Provide end-user consultative support • Perform Disaster Recovery testing • Act as system liaison between users of business units and the technical services group responsible for support • Lead collaboration with business units to establish priorities for resolution of multiple system problems and issues • Lead Card Services Business and Technology Strategies to evaluate technology opportunities to enhance operations

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields is preferred. 5-7 years systems support experience is required. 3 years experience with FDR or similar bankcard processing system or credit underwriting system is essential. 2-3 years experience in one supported operations or business area is required. Working knowledge of the Project Management Life Cycle and ability to apply project management methodology to medium scale projects is preferred. Successful candidates must have strong leadership skills and the ability to build consensus across departments regarding complex solutions and/or issue resolution.
