| SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS Responsible for supervising all accounting functions of the North America region within this business segment. Primary responsibilities include: reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, overseeing the monthly close process, reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and coordination of related audits. Act as the liaison between accounting and operations teams. Leading process improvement initiatives related to the closing and reporting process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations • Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained • Review financial statements for management reporting, GAAP and non-GAAP reporting purposes • Monitor and reconcile inter-company accounts • Review journal entries and account reconciliations required to accurately reflect the monthly activity • Preparation of work papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances • Serve as the accounting lead for the North America region in various initiatives to streamline the closing process and provide better visibility for management |

| QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelors and/or Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting. CPA certification required with 8 plus years experience • Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting and reporting principles • Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions using current accounting software products • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must understand the confidentiality and ethical standards of a CPA • Exceptional work ethic • Must be willing to travel frequently during the first six to twelve months of employment or move to Baltimore during this transition |
