| Report to CFO, be viewed as a business partner across all operations, and lead a small team of 7+. Important is that business has expanded with 15+operating locations domestically and within Europe, Asia, and Canada. Looking for a result oriented, hands-on proactive thinker and doer with upside to CFO. Looking to enhance all controllership functions. Be actively involved in and/or responsible for the following areas: • Lead the day to day accounting. month end close, P&L and balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations, actual to budget variance analysis, billing, and cash applications • Preparation of monthly financial reporting package including key metrics and commentary • FASB/GAAP accounting research and implementation • Partner with external auditors on internal controls and annual audit process. Work with legal counsel • Assist on continuous improvement projects to improve working capital, reduce operating expenses, automate manual processes, simplify the chart of accounts, and provide better business metrics • Be collaborative on the annual budget and short term forecasting • Partner with IT and senior leadership to process to improve IT reporting functions and ERP implementation • Be an advisor on revenue recognition, leases, expense allocations, and other accounting applications • Enhance and update policy and procedures manual • Mentor, develop and train staff to create a world class accounting team • Evaluate financial reporting software and determine if enhancements or upgrades are necessary to improve the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of reporting • Download data from ERP systems and manipulate data in Excel to prepare financial summaries |

| Must live in Connecticut. Must have a CPA or parts passed, 6+ overall years experience, with 3+ years of related experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting and 3+ years of leading a team. Strong Microsoft Excel, ERP and QuickBooks skills. Must be detailed orientated. Candidates groomed in a national CPA firm, investment, banking/financing, credit corp. or leasing industry is ideal. |
