| We have a great opportunity in South Austin for a Controller with healthcare experience. The ideal candidate will have the following credentials and experience. ·CPA (not negotiable) ·Experience in health care industry (must understand Medicare and Medicaid and insurance) ·Primary responsibility to have included “hands-on activity” as well as management of an accounting department that required them to prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial information (month-end close, analysis, all related reporting, budgets and forecasts and any related updating, regulatory reporting) and experience with multi –entity or consolidating company accounts ·Supervision of staff ·Executive presence that prepares them not only to prep the information but also allow them to present the financial status of the organization to board ·Experience with the review, design and implementation of policies, procedures and internal controls. ·Experience with a software implementation, conversion or upgrade ·Liaison with external service providers (external auditors, bankers, insurance and other vendors) as well as lead on negotiations for various products and services. |
