Job Description:
Excellent upside potential. Report to the Finance Director for Global Share Services within an emerging worldwide leader that will set record revenues and profits in 2012. This is a B2B/B2C company that has expanded into 38 countries over last five years and experience over 20% organic growth during the worst of economic time. New role. Be the hands-on leader of all A/P processes, systems, controls, and initiatives to ensure optimal efficiency. Be empowered to identify and enhance A/P methodologies (i.e. refining the requisition system as it ties to A/P; going more paperless; integration of acquisitions and onboarding of new global locations; document imaging; automated expense reimbursement; moving of T&E to shared services). Ensure internal controls are in place to protect assets and provide financial control over disbursements. Partner with global finance leaders on problem resolution and going forward A/P strategies. Improve efficiency in invoice processing, expense processing, 1099 and tax reporting, and document management. Lead all invoice processing activities, payment processing, expense auditing and accounts payable metric reporting. Partner with purchasing to resolve payment issues with vendors. Ensure timely closing of A/P monthly. Oversee the corporate travel/expense, purchasing card and corporate card programs.
Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: BS Accounting or Finance. Seek 6+ years of A/P experience with at least 2+ years as a Manager, Senior Manager or Director in a multi-national business that is over $500M in revenues. Must have strong communication, organizational, process improvement and problem solving skills. Oracle or SAP experience is required.
