| Dynamic manufacturing business unit seeks a Controller to handle all of the financial accounting functions. Reports to a Director of Finance. Looking for a promotable career reaching prfessional who can grow rapidly with the company. |

| SUMMARY This position will provide financial leadership and accountability for day to day operations for the general accounting functions within the company. The key general accounting functions include accounts payable, invoicing, payroll hours reporting, tax reporting, internal controls, general ledger maintenance, close the books and balance sheet management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements including the consolidation of approximately 10 separate legal entities. 2. Lead the month end close process to ensure proper accounting for transaction within the reporting period in a timely manner. 3. Provide GAAP guidance to the organization or work with Corporate to ensure proper accounting of non-standard transactions. Specifically, but not limited to, the area of revenue recognition. 4. Manage Sarbanes-Oxley internal documentation, testing, and process change management. 5. Manage the working relationships with the Shared Services Organizations within the Corporation. 6. Assist in the improvement of existing tools/processes related to balance sheet reporting and forecasting along with the development of new tools/processes used to analyze and report forecast variances. 7. Support and own specific portion of the financial statement forecasting and budgeting process 8. Complete or oversee accumulation of schedules, documents, data, etc. as necessary for request to outside parties, such as external auditors, consultants or tax advisors. 9. Manage finance staff in functional areas as assigned by the Director of Finance. 10. Assist the Director of Finance in directing finance functions, including maintaining an organization’s accounting principles, practices and procedures. |

| • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 10 plus years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or public accounting environment |
