| Responsible for directing the global Cost and Operational accounting activities in support of: • Operations personnel who require reporting of plant performance metrics including purchasing and manufacturing variances, inventory valuations and variances, productivity program forecasting and tracking, as well as restructuring initiatives. • Product Engineering and Product Line Management personnel for development of business cases to evaluate financial benefits of new product development as well as product rationalization. • Annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and analysis, and reporting of variances thereon. • Be seen as business advisor to operations, product engineering, and product line management leaders. • Development/maintenance and quality control over manufacturing performance metrics in support of operations. • Global standard costing methodologies and policy development for the creation, maintenance and analysis of standard costs. • Guide and assist operations, product engineering and product line management leaders in development of their budgets and forecasts as well as reporting of variances thereon. • Development of cost and operational accounting personnel. • Oversee cost and operational accounting personnel including Plant Controllers in the US and Mexico, while coordinating the cost and operational accounting personnel in Europe and Asia Pacific regions. • Promote process ownership and continuous improvement in the cost and operational accounting functions for enhanced control and efficiency. • Utilize automated tools for internal control, efficiency and effectiveness purposes. • Development and or adherence to Global accounting policies & procedures in the cost and operational accounting arena. • Assist with acquisition and integration of new businesses as opportunities arise. • Responding to needs of global reorganizations. |

| Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 12 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 4 years in cost and operational accounting with global manufacturing companies operations. Thorough working knowledge of operational accounting with strong understanding of ERP systems. Demonstrated executive presentation and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate up and down the organizational structure. |
