JOB DESCRIPTIONOur Client is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance and Accounting possessing excellent solution skill and experience to support CFOs and their financial processes during non-routine situations (financial restatements, regulatory matters), enhances financial process and reporting effectiveness, and develops ongoing capabilities to provide relevant information to support business decisions. You need the motivation, presence inventiveness skill and intelligence to help CFOs and financial executives strengthen their finance function and integrate risk considerations into their performance management activities. We need a leader who can get excited about assisting clients in managing complex accounting issues, including non-routine situations such as financial restatements, as well as the implementation of process improvements for financial and reporting processes. You will support investment and divestiture transactions, including execution of financial and operational mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence. Additionally you will assist in the selection and implementation of enterprise performance management software applications. JOB DESCRIPTION OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY This position requires someone who will take complete responsibility for execution on client engagements and maintaining strong relationships with senior client personnel. You will have a solid understanding of your clients’ business and demonstrate technical competence in their product group and industry. Use your competence to ensure quality and satisfaction on engagements. This position requires someone who can clearly articulate the value drivers of the business. You can demonstrate that developing opportunities both at existing clients and new clients is a strong skill. You will manage job economics and ensure timely completion and billing of projects. As a Senior Manager you will continually be developing further contacts within the business community and serve as ambassadors for my client in the market. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Minimum 5 years consulting experience Deep experience in finance business process design Experience with benchmarking techniques and best practice utilization Experience in IPO preparation Experience with large scale finance transformation programs, including: Finance organization design Designing and optimizing shared service organizations Advisory on outsourcing alternatives Business case management In depth knowledge of mergers and acquisitions Assist clients in developing and implementing processes to address changes and risks surfacing from new financial accounting requirements PREFERRED INDUSTRY / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS Working knowledge of IFRS convergence and control rationalization efforts Experience and knowledge around SEC investigations Experience with the stock based compensation issues Experience with corporate performance management solutions Oracle Hyperion IBM Cognos SAP BW Assist with clients revenue recognition issues Experience with financial restatements EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required 7+ years in a related field required, preferably in public accounting, professional services, strategy consulting Professional Certification such as CPA “Big 4” or large consulting firm experience is strongly preferred ABILITY TO TRAVEL Frequent travel may be required based on client requests/commitments Key Words: IPO, M&A, Finance, Accounting, “Process Design” , CPA, Audit, “Big 4” “Public Accounting”, Consulting, SEC,
