| The Financial Accountant is responsible for accounting within the Finance Department which will provide accounting support to all business units within the Division. Position works directly with each business unit on a broad spectrum of operational and financial accounting issues in order to improve technical functionality and efficiencies, develop accounting policies which can be consistently applied, evaluate security and control related issues. Position also provides support for major Finance initiatives and projects at each business unit and at the corporate services level. This individual must possess a strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial control concepts in order to ensure compliance with accounting standards and ensure integrity of financial information is maintained. | 2+ years financial accounting experience. |
