| Director of Technical Accounting & Finance will handle all external financial reporting responsibilities. In this role, will develop and manage SEC filings (10-K,10-Q, etc.) and ensure that disclosures included in SEC filings are appropriate to meet the SEC and FASB requirements. In addition, this role will be responsible for all technical accounting, providing interpretation related to new SEC and FASB pronouncements; assist external auditors in the audit of financial statements and Forms 10-K and 10-Q; review all contracts to ensure that contracts are compliant with GAAP; review annual and quarterly press releases and provide education and training to management on important accounting issues. The Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting will handle the preparation of all SEC filings including financial statements, footnotes, disclosures and supporting documents. This role will work directly with senior executive management, legal counsel, outside auditors, and investor relations. This position will be responsible for recognizing, researching and resolving SEC reporting and general accounting issues. Must be subject matter expert on current FASB pronouncements, exposure drafts, EITF consensuses, AICPA SOPs, SEC SABs and other relevant rules and interpretive guidance. Must have experience developing accounting policies and procedures related to new accounting standards. Responsible for maintaining internal controls and testing as it relates to external financial reporting. |

| •CPA is required, advanced degree desired •Public accounting experience with SEC clients required •Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills •Significant experience in SEC reporting including forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, S-3, S-8 •Experience with the preparation and technical writing of MD&A and footnotes •Experience in drafting position papers •8+ years of accounting experience •Advanced PC and strong accounting systems skills using Oracle and financial performance management tools such as Hyperion a plus |
