| Our client, a US regulatory agency located primarily in Washington DC, seeks a Manager of Accounting Enforcement to carry out investigation work and enforcement actions. |
| |
| • Planning, organizing and conducting investigations dealing with complex matters involving financial fraud and other securities practices with an emphasis on SOX and associated financial regulatory practices, control oversight and all associated SEC standards. • Reviewing and analyzing audit working papers, corporate books and records, and other financial and accounting documents; • Interview key contacts in industry to understand actions under review • Identifying accounting, auditing, and financial reporting deficiencies; • Recommend to management new policies or methodologies arising from reviews |

| CPA required. Attained level of Senior manager (experienced managers will be considered as well) at a large, public accounting firm, with demonstrated experience auditing Corporate SEC financial statements. Proficient in the application of accounting and auditing guidance including GAAP, GAAS, and the federal securities regulations, related to the issuance of audited financial statements; Knowledge and expertise with industry standard testing tools and incident tracking tools a plus |
