| Our client, a top retail company in the fashion/apparel industry, seeks a Director of Corporate Accounting. This role will provide the oppurtunity for diverse work across the accounting/finance discipline, from SEC reporting, technical accounting, budgeting, allocations, etc and offers the hired candidate a clear path for growth within the organization |

| • Support various reporting processes, including year-end schedules in support of the Company’s 10-K and Executive Compensation disclosures for the Company’s annual proxy statement. Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes for the Corporate income statement and balance sheet. • Responsible for the monthly estimate process for the Corporate income statement and balance sheet. Oversee and review all Corporate department budgets. Challenge assumptions for completeness and reasonableness, including amount and timing • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities. • Direct work of the team to ensure Financial Reporting deadlines are met. • Responsible for all Corporate allocations, Corporate General, Field Operations, Warehouse & Distribution, Advertising and Global Supply Chain allocations. Also perform allocations for medical/dental, pension and workers’ compensation allocations. • Present Corporate budget and allocations to senior management. • Provide financial and accounting guidance and support to various Corporate departments as needed. Research technical pronouncements that impact Corporate. • Responsible for the Company’s segment reporting, including estimates, budgets and actual quarterly results. Responsible for documenting segmentation of new businesses in accordance with ASC 280-10. • Ensure all accounts are properly documented and supported for external auditor’s annual audits and quarterly reviews. • Maintain and execute adequate internal controls for area and update Sarbanes-Oxley control narratives as needed. • Train and develop associates. Evaluate performance. |

| • 10+ years of experience, including Big Four or Corporate accounting/reporting experience. • Minimum four year degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA preferred. • Technical accounting and the ability to write footnotes (Pension and Stock-Based compensation) |
