| Underwrite and evaluate FHA, VA and residential mortgage loan applications Examine FHA and residential mortgage loan applications for complete accuracy and completeness. Ensure that investor guidelines and private and/or governmental insurer’s requirements and documentation are strictly enforced. Review automated underwriting findings and loan files for adherence to requirements. Determine whether income is stable and adequate for repayment. Source of funds for closing are sufficient, etc. Evaluate property for adequacy of collateral. Review title information. Approve or reject loans based on findings. Ensure compliance with government regulations and bank policies. |
